CA Final Registration

CA Final is the last of the three stages, i.e., after clearing both groups of CA IPCC Exams, one is eligible for CA Final. ICAI has declared the CA final Registration last date for the students who have cleared both groups. 

However, it is not easy to become a Chartered Accountant(CA). Despite failures and numerous attempts, finishing it successfully calls for a lot of passion, tenacity, hard work, and determination.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India recently closed the registration for May 2023 attempt on January 1, 2023, and registration for November 2023 attempt is still open until July 1, 2023.

How to Register for CA Final Exam Nov 2023?

CA Final after they have passed both groups of CA Intermediate and completed 2 years of articles. The candidates are eligible to give CA Final after they have passed both groups of CA Intermediate and completed 2.5 years of articles.

The registration process for the CA Final exam is the same as it is for the CA Intermediate exam. 

The following are the steps to register for CA Final Exam:

  1. To register for the ICAI CA Final Registration Form, candidates must go to the ICAI’s official website and visit the SSP portal to start the CA Final registration process and enter their registration ID and password.
  2. To register for the CA Final Exam, select the Students Cycle option.
  3. Students must now choose CA Final as the course level option.
  4. You will be taken to the page where you must complete the CA Final Registration Form’s details.
  5. The candidate must upload all the documents, including the training certificate and mark sheet, and make the payment.

Documents Required for CA Final Registration

Candidates should have a few documents on hand prior to the CA final registration and should print copies and self-attest each document.

Below are the documents required for CA Final registration:

  1. Signature of the candidate.
  2. Size of applicant’s passport authenticated copy of the photo CA IPCC/Intermediate examination results.
  3. Attested copy of the CA foundation/CPT examination.
  4. Proof of Nationality.
  5. A copy of the certificate for the special category, i.e. SC/ST/OBC or differently-abled.

CA Final Registration Eligibility

Candidates must make sure they satisfy all ICAI eligibility requirements before submitting the registration form. 

  • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% overall and 40% in each subject in the CA Intermediate examination.
  • Candidates must have at least 2.5 years of articleship training under their belt.
  • In the last two years of practical training, candidates should complete a four-week Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS).

1. Does CA registration expire?

Yes, the validity of CA registration is 5 years. If the registration expires, the candidate can revalidate by paying Rs.500.

2. Can I directly give the CA final exam?

No, to take the CA Final, students must pass both the Foundation and Intermediate Exams. Students who choose the Direct Entry option must be graduates; only then can they take the CA Intermediate exam directly.

3. What is the CA Final Registration’s last date for the Nov 2023 attempt?

The last date for candidates to get registered for  November 2023 attempt is July 1, 2023.
