NEET UG 2023, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, is the most important gateway for students seeking admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. Over 21 lakh students have registered for the NEET UG 2023 exam, which will be held on May 7. This news has relieved many students eagerly waiting for the examination to begin.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET UG 2023 exam. The registration process for NEET UG 2023 was open until the end of January. The latest data released by the NTA shows that 20.8 lakh candidates have applied for the exam, an increase of 2.57 lakh candidates compared to the previous year. Out of these, 11.8 lakh female candidates and 9 lakh male candidates have applied for the undergraduate medical entrance exam.

State-wise Registration Data

According to state-wise data, the highest number of registrations are from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, with over 2.77 lakh and 2.73 lakh registrations, respectively. Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh have also crossed one lakh registrations.

Despite the increase in COVID cases, many students are urging NTA to postpone the NEET UG exam. They claim that they need more time to prepare for the exam due to the pandemic. However, since the academic calendar needs to be back on track, government officials and NTA have stated that they will hold the exams as per the schedule.

MCC NEET UG Details

Soon, neet.nta.nic.in will release the NEET UG exam city slips and admit cards. Candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website and entering their registration number and date of birth. The NTA is expected to announce the NEET result in the first week of June, and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling process.

NEET 2023 Syllabus

To prepare for the NEET UG exam, students need to thoroughly understand the syllabus, which includes topics from physicschemistry, and biology. The National Testing Agency (NTA) expects to keep the syllabus for NEET 2023 similar to the previous year.
